A Siglap penthouse with a working beer tap upstairs — one floor to live on, one built entirely for having people over.

Downstairs is deliberately calm: a marble feature wall with a slim black ledge for the television, a pale sofa facing the windows, and a compact dining table that tucks in rather than dominates. The upper floor is the opposite. Walnut cabinetry wraps three sides under track lighting, glassware sits on open lit shelves, a counter runs long enough for four stools, and a stainless draught tower with its own drip tray sits where most homes would put a sideboard. The galley kitchen downstairs stays practical — white worktops, a black extractor, a dishwasher and oven built in — with a glass door to the yard keeping the light coming through. The bathrooms are the one place colour appears, in a band of pastel mosaic running behind an oval backlit mirror.
