A five-room resale in Compassvale wrapped in dark walnut, with a lit display wall built to hold a family worth of collecting.

One long run of vertical walnut panelling carries the entire living room — television, console, and a tall glass-fronted column lit shelf by shelf so that figurines, framed photographs and souvenirs read as a collection rather than clutter. The timber returns in the kitchen, where dark fronts and a black glass backsplash run the full galley to the service yard, keeping a long, narrow room visually continuous. Against all that depth the rest of the flat stays pale: light plank flooring, white ceilings and a soft cove that lifts the room at night. The bathrooms are where the house lets go — one in botanical mural tile behind a clear glass screen, the other in black-and-white encaustic pattern, each with its own fluted vanity.
