A four-bedroom apartment by the Hougang waterfront, book-ended by marble and lit by one long curve across the ceiling.
Both ends of the open plan are clad in the same book-matched marble — the television wall at one end, the dining and bar wall at the other — so the eye travels the full length of the apartment and back. Between them a sculpted cove curls across the ceiling, carrying concealed light over the sofa and down to the dining table. Open white shelves break up the stone with room for ceramics and candlesticks, while a fluted timber base and an undercounter wine fridge turn the dining end into a working bar. The bedrooms each take a different cut of the same idea: a marble headboard wall with a diagonal light slot in the master, mirrored wardrobe doors to widen the second room, and a built-in desk and monitor wall for the one that doubles as a workspace.
