A three-room flat on Pipit Road opened up with arches and white plaster, with all the weight saved for the kitchen.
Squared-off doorways were replaced with soft arches, which is why a compact flat reads as a sequence of spaces rather than a corridor with rooms off it. The shell is kept near-white — plaster walls, a pale ceiling, sheer curtains — and the warmth comes from oak flooring, a sand-coloured sofa and a short gallery of framed prints along the hallway. The kitchen is the counterweight: dark timber fronts run the full galley, wrapped around a curved-edge island in white stone that doubles as the dining table, with the appliances recessed so the line stays unbroken. In the bedroom, storage is built into the window ledge beneath the view, and the wardrobe wall folds a slim vanity into its end panel.
