A two-bedroom apartment in Sengkang in grey, black and one long wall of oak fluting that doubles as the bench seat.
The living and dining areas share a single move: a full-height run of oak fluting down one wall, with a stone bench cantilevered out of it at seat height so the dining table needs chairs on one side only. Everything else is kept deliberately plain — mid-grey walls, pale plank flooring, a black steel-framed table, and a track of spots rather than a pendant. The kitchen is the dark counterpoint, with matte graphite fronts, a veined black stone splashback that runs up behind the hob, and the oven and hood built flush into the run. The bedroom faces straight into the treetops and keeps its palette grey on grey so the window does the work. In the bathroom a slate feature wall sits behind a frameless glass screen, with a vessel basin on a timber vanity and an oval black-framed mirror above it.
